At Mutts on the Mountain, we believe every puppy deserves a safe place to land and a loving start to life. Based on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, we are a small, home-based foster organization dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable — orphaned and abandoned puppies.

Our journey began with one litter and a leap of faith. What started as a simple act of compassion quickly became a calling to give more puppies a fighting chance. We specialize in early-stage fostering, providing medical support, socialization, and lots of love until each pup is ready for adoption through our trusted rescue partners.

We’re not a shelter — we’re a safe haven. A place where little paws take their first steps toward forever. Whether it’s a stray picked up by animal control or a litter of pups dumped at a gas station, we are there every step of the way.
