About: Sweet Pea was at the shelter in rural Alabama for 8 months prior to us pulling her. She was terrified and needed out desperately. She has now been in our care for 7 months, and has completely blossomed in that time. She does still have a timid personality while getting to know you… but she is 100% pure SWEETNESS (hence the name). She loves the older children (ages 10 & 12) in the home and spends most of her day basking in the sunshine outside (she prefers outdoors). She is potty-trained with a doggy door and does great left out in the house. She would thrive with a fenced-in backyard and a doggie companion. Sweet Pea is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed and up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm meds.
